Lorrie Drejka was featured on local CNN News demonstrating handicapped-assistance training. She has sponsored seminars & given lectures to the public and industry professionals including: the New Jersey Federation of Dog Club, Best Friends Animal Rescue, Morristown Association of Responsible Dog Owners Group (M.A.R.D.O.G.) She was the guest lecturer for “ Ask the trainer” at the “Blessing of the Animals”. She was a guest speaker to the children of the Henley School in Clark about canine awareness & safety including a canine demonstration. She has been an assistant obedience judge at the Middlesex County 4-H Club.
Lorrie & her dogs have been in two local school play productions. She visits local nursing homes & hospitals with her dogs. She volunteers her time to local shelter/rescue organizations in Middlesex County and Union County NJ, including the A.S.P.C.A. Dog’s Best Friend Training Academy accepts year-round donations on behalf of these groups and will distribute your contributions to them.
Lorrie believes that every dog should be evaluated on an individual basis and not solely by its breed. She has and always will continue to oppose breed specific legislation in all of its discriminatory forms.
